Staff training
All staff is trained at a Kieser Training Academy (KTA). The full course for each level must be completed successfully before candidates are qualified to carry out their respective duties at a facility. The courses have a modular structure, with individual preparation based on study guides, followed by intensive sessions with a tutor and normally rounded off with a period of supervised training on the job.
Duties
Instruction
- Conduct the free introductory session for potential customers
- Introduce new customers to their training programme
- Check customers are training effectively
- Point of contact for customers
Reception
- Sell membership
- Point of contact for potential customers
- Welcome customers
- Deal with telephone enquiries
- Make training appointments for customers
- Check membership cards
- Monitor deployment of staff (allocation of duties)
- Minor administrative tasks (update customer statistics, complete training contracts, compile training programmes, help with mail shots)
Maintenance and cleaning
- Check and if necessary do a quick clean of the changing rooms, showers and toilets (the main cleaning is done by contract cleaners)
- Clean and maintain training machines
